Ibanez - Blazer BL-100 - 1982 - Natural

The BL100 is a Blazer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1982. It was made in Japan by Dyna Gakki replacing the similar mahogany-bodied BL70. The Blazer series is a line of guitars with styling similar to the Fender Stratocaster.

The BL100 features an ash body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a trio of Ibanez blade-style SB single coil pickups mounted in a black pickguard with a phase switch for the middle pickup, a machined brass fixed bridge and Smooth Tuner II machine heads.

The BL170 is a similar model with a pair of humbucking pickups.

The BL100 was discontinued after 1982 along with the entire Blazer line.
