Here's another gorgeous Black Ebony USA Wolfgang from EVH! Arguably the flagship of Eddie Van Halen's brand, this axe doesn't disappoint.

This guitar is simply a joy to play. It feels just like it looks: fast and precise. The neck is super fast and comfortable everywhere, bends are easy and lightning fast runs are effortless. The upper register on this guitar is really something special. All the way up to the 22nd fret, full step bends and heavy vibratos are not only easy but still have the same dynamic responsiveness as the rest of the neck, making for a true singer of a guitar. The body is extremely comfortable sitting or standing, and the light weight will allow for hours of practicing and performing.

The EVH humbuckers are the headliner of this axe and are obviously a big part of the guitar's signature sound, and we found them to have great clarity under heavy distortion and sound surprisingly good for low-gain styles as well. 

The Floyd Rose double-locking bridge is absolutely rock-solid when properly set-up, and it withstood the dive bombs we threw at it without issue. With the D-Tuna, you won't have to waste time tuning to get that nice low D, and it's easy enough to use mid-song. Other features include 22 frets, 25.5" scale length, dot inlays and a three-way selector switch.

• Featuring an offset shape with larger upper horn, the Wolfgang’s basswood body provides excellent tonal response that is full and rich, along with overall warmth and sustain. The body is capped with a big-leaf maple top for enhanced note separation and clarity. The Wolfgang headstock is color matched to the headstock.
• The innovative 12"-16" compound radius design features a fingerboard that gradually flattens toward the heel from its smaller and more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for unparalleled comfortable chording and riffing near the nut and precise shred articulation and bending near the heel. Known for its clear and crisp attack, the ebony fingerboard’s tight wood grains also lend for a slick and fast-playing surface, while the vintage stainless steel frets are smaller for a classic feel. Lastly, pearloid dot inlays add a touch of elegance.
• Not all humbuckers are created equal. Direct mount EVH Wolfgang USA humbuckers with Alnico 2 magnets are hotter and harness Eddie’s signature authoritative, high-gain lead tone that captivated the world of rock ‘n’ roll in the ‘70s and ‘80s. These pickups deliver radiate rich harmonics, pristine highs and plenty of snarling mids.
• Explore this axe’s sonic palette with the three-way toggle switch, with reverse wiring. Position one engages the neck pickup for all your blistering solo needs. Position two engages both pickups, while position three engages the bridge pickup for robust rhythm riffing. The volume knobs houses a 500K EVH Bourns low friction pot with treble bleed circuit for seamless swells, while the tone control with 250K EVH Bourns high friction pot that will stay in place even if accidentally bumped.
